Role Description The Continental Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting a variety of continental dishes, including French and European-inspired cuisine, in line with All That Bakes’ menu and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing food preparation, ensuring proper portioning and plating, monitoring kitchen inventory, and maintaining hygiene and safety protocols. The role involves collaborating with the kitchen team on menu development, introducing new dishes and seasonal specials, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation.





The Continental

Chef will also supervise junior staff, support training, and coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely service. This is a full-time, on-site role based at All That Bakes in Jamshedpur.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in continental and French cuisine, including preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
- Experience in a professional kitchen or patisserie environment, preferably in cafés, restaurants, or hotels.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, portioning, and quality checks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide and support junior kitchen staff.
- Creativity in developing current recipes, presentation styles, and seasonal menu items.
- Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized institute is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a café environment.
