About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, hands-on intern who can shoot professional-looking videos, edit engaging content, and manage social media for two business profiles
You will work closely with the founder to turn ideas, on-location footage, and business insights into content that builds awareness, earns trust, and encourages enquiries and purchases.
This role suits someone who enjoys being behind the camera, understands social media storytelling, and can take a piece of content from concept to publication.
Key Responsibilities1.
Content
Planning &
• Creative Research
- Prepare and maintain separate content calendars for the two business profiles.
- Research relevant trends, formats, hooks, audio, and storytelling approaches.
- Suggest original content ideas suited to each brand’s audience and goals.
- Develop short scripts, shot lists, captions, and calls to action before shoots.
- Balance trending content with useful, informative content that strengthens credibility.
2. On-Location Video & • Photography
- Visit property sites, the Earthen Mill store, production locations, and other agreed shoot locations.
- Shoot property walkthroughs, founder videos, product demonstrations, customer stories with consent, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Capture clear audio, well-framed footage, appropriate lighting, and supporting B-roll.
- Create both vertical footage for reels and shorts and horizontal footage where required.
- Guide the founder or other speakers on framing, delivery, and retakes.
- Plan shoots efficiently so each visit produces usable content for multiple posts.

Video
Editing &
• Design
- Edit videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
- Create strong opening hooks, clear narratives, engaging pacing, subtitles, and relevant calls to action.
- Use music, transitions, sound effects, and graphics thoughtfully.
- Design thumbnails, covers, carousels, stories, and simple promotional creatives using Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity for each business.
- Adapt content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other agreed platforms.
- Incorporate feedback and deliver finished content within agreed timelines.
4.
Social Media
Management
- Manage the content calendar, scheduling, and publishing for both profiles.
- Write clear, engaging captions and use relevant keywords, hashtags, and location tags.
- Maintain profile information, highlights, and content presentation.
- Monitor comments and direct messages, respond using approved information, and route sales enquiries to the founder or relevant team.
- Coordinate timely posts around launches, offers, events, and business updates.
- Obtain approval before publishing prices, offers, property details, or product claims.

Performance
Tracking &
• Improvement
- Track views, reach, watch time, engagement, saves, shares, profile visits, and enquiries.
- Prepare a brief weekly report showing what performed well and what needs improvement.
- Test different hooks, video lengths, formats, and posting approaches.
- Use results to improve the next content cycle.
- Focus on attracting relevant audiences and generating meaningful interest in both businesses.

Content
Organisation
- Organise raw footage, edited videos, photographs, and design files in shared folders.
- Maintain backups and editable project files.
- Track content from idea and shoot through editing, approval, and publication.
- Use properly licensed music and visual assets and obtain consent where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to independently shoot and edit polished video content.
- A portfolio of reels, short videos, photography, or social media work; personal and college projects are welcome.
- Working knowledge of at least one video editing tool and a design tool such as Canva.
- Understanding of composition, lighting, audio recording, subtitles, and video storytelling.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and social media publishing.
- Ability to write effective hooks, captions, and basic scripts.
- Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel within Bengaluru for planned shoots, primarily around Whitefield and East Bengaluru.
- Ability to work independently from home and collaborate closely during field visits.
Students, recent graduates, and early-career creators may apply. Demonstrated skills and quality of work matter more than a specific degree. Preferred Skills
- Comfortable communicating in English and Kannada.
- Interest in real estate, food, entrepreneurship, or consumer brands.
- Experience shooting with a smartphone, DSLR, or mirrorless camera.
- Familiarity with microphones, tripods, gimbals, and basic lighting.
- Ability to use AI tools to support ideation, subtitles, and editing while reviewing the quality and accuracy of the output.
- Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally, although this is not essential.
Hybrid Work ArrangementField work — 3–4 days per week:
Planned shoots, property visits, store visits, content capture, and coordination with the founder.
Work from home — remaining working days:
Editing, scripting, design, scheduling, research, reporting, and managing the content workflow.
The weekly schedule will be planned around shoot requirements and business priorities. Any weekend shoots will be coordinated in advance. Working hours, weekly off, equipment availability, and travel arrangements will be clarified before joining.
Expected OutcomesDuring the internship, you will be expected to:
- Build a consistent content pipeline for both business profiles.
- Deliver professional-looking videos with clear storytelling and engaging presentation.
- Maintain distinct, consistent brand identities across posts.
- Complete agreed shoots, edits, and publishing tasks on time.
- Improve content based on audience response and performance data.
- Keep content assets organised and ready for future use.
Weekly content quantities and turnaround times will be agreed based on shoot complexity and the requirements of both businesses. What You Will Gain
