Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Labour Contractor based in Mengio.

The Construction Labour

Contractor will be responsible for sourcing, hiring, and managing construction labor for civil, electrical, and infrastructure projects, ensuring adequate workforce availability at all project sites. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers to understand manpower requirements, deploying labor teams, monitoring attendance, and supervising work discipline and productivity.



The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, labor regulations, and company policies, managing wage distribution and basic documentation, and addressing worker issues or grievances promptly.

The contractor will liaise with local authorities and vendors as needed, support timely project execution, and maintain explicit records of workforce allocation and performance.

Qualifications

- Experience in construction labor management, including sourcing, recruiting, and supervising workers for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of basic construction workflows, site operations, safety practices, and labor compliance requirements.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with project managers, site engineers, and labor teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of attendance, wage distribution, and workforce deployment using basic documentation or digital tools.
- Proven capability to resolve on-site issues, manage conflicts, and maintain worker morale while meeting project timelines.
- Familiarity with local labor markets in and around Mengio and ability to mobilize workforce quickly when required.
- Minimum high school or equivalent education; vocational or technical training in construction or project management is an advantage.
- Prior experience working with EPC, civil, or industrial infrastructure contractors is preferred.
