Job Title: Computer Operator (CAD / Technical Software)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Computer Operator to join our technical operations team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day computer tasks, system operations, and data management while using Autodesk Fusion 360 and standard business application software.

You will work closely with our engineering, drafting, and administrative teams to process design files, maintain accurate operational records, generate reports, and assist with general technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- CAD & Technical Software Operations:
- Utilize Autodesk Fusion 360 to view, organize, convert, export, and maintain 3D models and 2D technical drawings.
- Perform basic file updates, adjustments, and format conversions for manufacturing or engineering projects.
- Assist engineering and design teams with data entry, design asset cataloging, and cloud file management in Fusion 360 teams.
- Computer System & Operations Management:
- Execute daily computer operations, including system monitoring, file processing, and routine batch tasks.
- Maintain and update organizational databases, digital records, spreadsheets, and file management systems.
- Perform regular data backups, maintain logbooks, and archive completed project files in line with company policies.
- General Office & Software Applications:
- Prepare detailed reports, documents, and spreadsheets using standard business software (e.g.,



Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
- Print, scan, plot, and organize large format technical drawings, specs, and shop floor documents.
- Provide basic desktop troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, and software support across office workstations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Any Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (Engineering, Science, Business, IT, or related fields welcome).
- Software Skills:
- Hands-on proficiency or formal training in Autodesk Fusion 360 (or similar 3D CAD platforms like SolidWorks/Inventor).
- Strong proficiency in core computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, Cloud Drives, Email/Communication tools).
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with basic file extension management (.step, .f3d, .dxf, .dwg, .pdf), database entries, and operating system navigation (Windows/macOS).
