- The Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the company's incentive compensation programs.
- This role ensures compensation-related employee data, commission transactions, payouts, and supporting records are accurate, complete, and processed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- The position serves as a key point of contact for compensation-related inquiries and works closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, HR, Finance, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to support efficient commission operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer compensation-related employee lifecycle activities, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, hierarchy updates, leave of absence events, and caretaker assignments in Xactly Incent.
- Support monthly commission processing by validating data, researching and resolving commission inquiries, crediting questions, payout discrepancies, missing transactions, and other compensation-related exceptions while processing approved adjustments and ensuring accurate commission results.




- Generate and validate commission statements, recurring reports, payroll support files, and audit documentation while maintaining complete and audit-ready records.
- Partner with Sales Operations, HR, Finance, Payroll, and business stakeholders to support compensation administration, resolve issues, and ensure compensation-related data is accurately reflected across systems.
- Monitor compensation administration workflows, maintain process documentation, and assist employees and managers with compensation statements, attainment reporting, commission payments, and system access questions.

Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience supporting incentive compensation or commission administration.
- Hands-on experience supporting Xactly Incent, including employee maintenance, hierarchy updates, user administration, transaction validation, commission statement support, and monthly commission processing.
- Experience researching and resolving commission inquiries, payout discrepancies, and compensation-related issues.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to partner effectively across business functions.
- Experience maintaining process documentation, audit support materials, and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using Monday.com or similar workflow, case management, or ticketing platforms.
- Experience working with Snowflake, data warehouses, or business intelligence/reporting tools.
- Prior experience supporting SaaS or subscription-based sales compensation plans with metrics such as Bookings, ACV, renewals, GRR, NRR, or customer retention programs.
- Experience supporting global sales organizations and multi-currency commission processing.

Scope Of Role

- This position is focused on the operational administration, processing, reconciliation, validation, and support of incentive compensation programs. The role does not own compensation plan design,



quota strategy, crediting rule development, compensation policy creation, or compensation system configuration. Those responsibilities remain with Compensation Leadership and Compensation Program Management teams.
