We are looking for an energetic, confident and highly communicative professional to manage our online communities, strengthen brand engagement and become one of the visible faces of Backstage Pass across social media. The role combines community management, online reputation, video content, interview coordination and college outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and actively engage Backstage Pass communities across Discord and other relevant online platforms.
- Moderate conversations, respond to comments and maintain a positive, active community environment across Discord, Reddit and other community-led platforms.
- Monitor and professionally respond to online reviews, feedback and public queries.
- Represent Backstage Pass on camera for Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, Shorts and other social content.
- Plan, coordinate and host interviews with mentors, alumni, students, game developers and industry experts.
- Research guests, prepare relevant questions and ensure interviews and shoots are executed on schedule.
- Identify gaming trends, student stories, achievements and industry topics that can be developed into content.
- Contribute fresh ideas for community-led content and work closely with the marketing and video teams.
- Visit intermediate and engineering colleges to organise knowledge-sharing activities and awareness sessions on game design and development.




- Interact with students, answer their questions and motivate them to explore learning game design and development.
- Invite interested students to the Backstage Pass facility for game design workshops and coordinate visits and workshop schedules with the academic team.

Candidate Profile

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; articulate, outgoing and comfortable initiating conversations.
- Confident, camera-friendly and well-presented, with the ability to connect naturally with different audiences.
- Preferably a gamer with a genuine interest in games, gaming culture and the gaming industry.
- Well-versed in Discord and gaming communities on platforms such as Reddit, with a good understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Reels and Shorts.
- Creative, fun-loving and outspoken while remaining qualified and dependable.
- Strong organisation, time management, focus, ownership and dedication to deadlines.
- Comfortable addressing student groups and undertaking regular college visits, outreach activities and workshop coordination.
