About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Engineer – Contracts with solid experience in High-Rise Building Projects and construction commercial management.

The candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual activities, contractor billing, BOQ verification, variations, claims, rate analysis, contractual documentation, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and project teams.

High-Rise Building Project experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day commercial and contract administration activities for high-rise building projects.
- Review, verify and process contractor bills, RA bills, final bills and payment-related documents.
- Verify quantities against approved BOQs, drawings, specifications and site measurements.
- Handle variations, deviations, extra items and rate analysis.
- Review and evaluate contractor claims and provide commercial recommendations.
- Prepare and maintain contractual documentation, correspondence, notices and records.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, quantity surveyors and project teams.
- Review and assist in preparation of tenders, work orders, agreements and contract documents.
- Monitor contractual obligations, commercial terms and project commitments.
- Conduct quantity verification, cost analysis and commercial evaluations.
- Review and validate contractor measurements and supporting documents for billing.
- Support commercial negotiations with contractors and vendors.




- Identify commercial and contractual issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Maintain records of variations, claims, approvals, bills and commercial settlements.
- Prepare commercial MIS reports, cost statements and project-related reports.
- Ensure commercial activities are carried out as per project contracts, company procedures and applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure commercial activities support overall project cost and execution objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
- High-Rise Building Project experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in Commercial / Contracts / Quantity Surveying.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration.
- Strong experience in RA Bills, contractor billing, BOQ and quantity verification.
- Good knowledge of rate analysis, variations, deviations and claims.
- Experience in tendering, work orders, agreements and contractual documentation.
- Ability to review and interpret BOQs, drawings, specifications and contract documents.
- Strong contractor, consultant and project team coordination skills.
- Good commercial negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction project commercials and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in high-rise building construction and commercial/contract management will be preferred.
