Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gorakhpur for a Collection Executive.

The Collection

Executive is responsible for managing overdue accounts, following up with customers on outstanding payments, and ensuring timely recovery of dues in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks include visiting customers, explaining repayment schedules, negotiating and structuring payment plans where appropriate, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities. The role involves close coordination with branch staff and the credit team to monitor portfolio performance and escalate high-risk cases.

Executive is expected to adhere to ethical collection practices, maintain professional communication with customers, and support the overall health of the loan portfolio.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Credit Control and Finance skills to assess repayment capacity and understand loan products.
- Candidates should possess solid Debt Collection skills, including experience in recovery processes and managing overdue accounts.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Analytical Skills to interact with customers effectively and interpret account data.
- Relevant experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services collections is beneficial.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gorakhpur, travel locally for field visits, and adapt to rural and semi-urban operating environments.
- Proficiency in local language(s) and basic computer skills for reporting and documentation is preferred.
