Role Description The Code Manager role at Criclive.in is a full time, on-site position based in Janakpuri. In this role, the Code Manager oversees the integrity, organization, and deployment of code across the platform, ensuring smooth operation of live commentary, news features, and community discussion pages.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing code repositories, reviewing and merging code changes, coordinating with developers to maintain coding standards, and troubleshooting technical issues that affect site performance.

The Code

Manager will collaborate closely with product and content teams to support new features,



optimize workflows, and maintain a stable, responsive experience for users during live matches and peak traffic periods.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience with code repository management (e.g., Git), version control workflows, and release management processes.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and platforms commonly used for content-heavy or live-updated websites (e.g., front-end frameworks, back-end services, databases).
- Ability to review, organize, and document code to maintain clarity, consistency, and long-term maintainability.
- Skill in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability in a live production environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with developers, product owners, and content teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience in a technical lead, code manager, or similar role supporting web applications or media platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in cricket and familiarity with live sports platforms or media sites is highly beneficial.
