VMC Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC/VMC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC/ Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision manufacturing operations. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, monitor machining processes, and ensure production quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate VMC/CNC machines according to production requirements

- Load and unload raw materials and finished components

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders

- Set machine parameters, tools, and offsets

- Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy and quality

- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning





- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges

- Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues

- Maintain production records and reports

- Follow workplace safety and quality procedures

Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations

- Understanding of G-code and M-code basics

- Ability to read engineering drawings

- Familiarity with measuring instruments

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Basic troubleshooting skills

- Positive communication and teamwork
