Role Description The Cluster General Manager is a full-time, in office leadership role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, responsible for overseeing multiple properties within the Shilton Hospitality portfolio. This role manages day-to-day hotel and resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, catering, and event activities, ensuring consistent service standards across locations.

The Cluster General

Manager develops and implements business plans, drives revenue and occupancy, controls costs, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring property management teams, monitoring guest satisfaction, resolving escalated issues, coordinating with corporate functions, and optimizing operational processes. The role also involves building local partnerships,



supporting marketing and promotional initiatives, and contributing to strategic decisions that enhance brand reputation and long-term growth.

Qualifications

- Strong hotel and resort operations management skills, including oversight of front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services.
- Demonstrated ability in revenue management, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis for multi-property clusters.
- Experience in team leadership, performance management, and staff training across diverse hospitality functions.
- Capability in guest relationship management, service quality improvement, and handling escalated customer concerns.
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems, reservation platforms, and basic office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, safety and hygiene regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or specialized certifications in hospitality are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a General Manager or Cluster/Area Manager in hotels, resorts, or similar multi-unit hospitality environments.
- Ability to work in office across properties in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for extended hours as required by operations.
