Why this role exists

Medinex Workforce runs its candidate trackers, portals and automation scripts on servers that have to stay up. When a release goes out late or a server goes down at the wrong moment, recruiters lose hours and clients notice. As a Cloud & DevOps Intern, you will help build the automated route that takes code from a developer's laptop to a live server, and keep that route safe and repeatable.

You will work with real servers, containers and pipelines, and learn how modern teams release software quickly without breaking things.

Your day-to-day

- Set up, configure and maintain Linux servers for development and testing
- Package applications into containers using Docker and manage them with Docker Compose
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Write shell scripts to automate deployments, backups and routine server tasks
- Monitor server health, logs and uptime, and report issues early
- Help manage cloud resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure or DigitalOcean
- Document setups so anyone on the team can repeat them
- Share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review

You are a good fit if
- You have basic Linux command line skills (files, permissions, processes, networking)
- You understand Git and how code moves from development to deployment
- You have a basic idea of how web servers, ports and DNS work




- You enjoy troubleshooting and finding out why something stopped running
- You like automating work you would otherwise repeat by hand
- You have a laptop and a stable internet connection for full-time work from home

Nice to have, not required
- Familiarity with Docker
- Exposure to a cloud platform, Nginx or Kubernetes
- A GitHub profile, a home lab or a project you deployed yourself

Who can apply
- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, diploma programs or related streams
- Self-taught learners who can show their skills through a GitHub profile, home lab or deployed project
- Freshers are welcome, and prior work experience is not required
- You must be available to work full-time for the internship period
