Role Description The Clinical Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical records, interpreting clinical documentation, and assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with established coding standards and payer guidelines.

Day-to-day activities include validating completeness of documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies, and collaborating with clinical and operations teams to clarify information and support accurate reimbursement.

The role also involves performing data quality checks, supporting analytics teams with coded data for insights,



and contributing to process improvement initiatives in clinical documentation and coding workflows. This is a contract position based in the Greater Delhi Area, structured as a hybrid role with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Coding and clinical documentation skills: proficiency in ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and other relevant coding systems; strong ability to interpret medical terminology, clinical notes, and diagnostic reports.
- Compliance and quality skills: knowledge of payer rules, regulatory and audit requirements; experience ensuring coding accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Analytics and technology skills: comfort working with electronic health records (EHRs), coding software, and basic data tools; ability to support analytics and reporting using coded clinical data.
- Communication and collaboration skills: ability to clarify documentation with clinical staff, communicate coding decisions clearly, and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Beneficial qualifications: certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent), prior experience in hospital or insurance settings, familiarity with healthcare reimbursement processes, and strong attention to detail and time management.
- Education and work style: relevant diploma or degree in healthcare, medical records, or life sciences; ability to work in a hybrid model in the Greater Delhi Area and meet contract deliverables reliably.
