Role The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading CIEScore’s overall technology vision, strategy, and execution. This role oversees the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable platforms that support candidate scoring and professional credit insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding software and product development teams, setting architectural standards, prioritizing technology initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The CTO collaborates closely with executive leadership, product, data, and operations teams to translate business goals into actionable technology roadmaps.
Additional responsibilities include managing technology budgets, overseeing vendor relationships, establishing best practices for engineering and security, and mentoring technical leaders to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
Qualifications
- Robust expertise in Software Development and Product Development, with a track record of building and scaling technology products or platforms.
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing robust, secure, and scalable systems aligned with business goals.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management, leading cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Proven leadership in managing distributed engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, modern development frameworks, APIs, and data-intensive applications.
- Background in analytics, data engineering, or machine learning-driven products is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive decisions and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
