Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Finishing Engineer / Civil Finishing Supervisor based in Ahmedabad. The role involves supervising and executing finishing works such as plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, false ceilings, doors and windows, and other interior and exterior finishes, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The professional will coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, plan daily work schedules, monitor material usage, and ensure that finishing activities are completed as per timelines and cost targets.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, checking workmanship,



resolving site issues, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, and preparing basic progress reports and documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with procurement and quality teams, adherence to relevant codes and standards, and proactive communication with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess practical experience working as Civil Engineers on building or infrastructure projects, especially in finishing works supervision and execution.
- Candidates should possess Planning skills for sequencing finishing activities, managing resources, and tracking progress against project schedules.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Stormwater Management and related site infrastructure to coordinate finishing works with overall civil services.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building projects, preferably with at least 3–5 years in finishing works supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, finishing standards, quality control processes, and safety practices on site.
- Ability to lead site teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings; familiarity with basic engineering software and MS Office is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in office in Ahmedabad and adapt to project requirements and timelines.
