? Hiring | Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) | Manufacturing Sector | Mumbai (Onsite)

We are looking for an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for one of our esteemed client to lead the HR function for a large, growing promoter-driven manufacturing organization undergoing a significant transformation towards a more professionally managed and scalable enterprise.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic yet hands-on HR leader who can build systems, strengthen organizational capability and create a strong talent ecosystem.

? Key Responsibilities

- Drive the overall HR strategy and organizational transformation.
- Build scalable HR systems, policies, processes and governance.
- Establish Job Descriptions, KRAs, KPIs and a robust Performance Management System (PMS).
- Strengthen talent acquisition, retention, succession planning and leadership development.
- Build performance-driven compensation and rewards frameworks.
- Drive organization design, workforce planning and capability development.
- Strengthen employee engagement, culture and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead HR digitalization and HRMS/process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the Promoters,



MD and senior leadership on critical people and organizational decisions.
- Oversee Employee Relations, Industrial Relations and HR compliance.

? Ideal Candidate

- 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant senior leadership exposure.
- Strong manufacturing industry experience is essential.
- Experience across both promoter-driven and professionally managed organizations.
- Proven track record of building and professionalizing HR systems and processes.
- Strong experience in PMS, KRA/KPI frameworks, talent management and employee retention.
- Experience supporting organizations through growth, transformation and scale-up.
- Solid business acumen with a hands-on and execution-oriented approach.
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institution
