Role Description The Chemical Engineering Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and monitoring chemical and process systems used in Dawell Lifescience’s product and solution portfolio, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting process analyses, performing technical calculations, supporting scale-up and validation activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in R&D;, quality, and operations.
The specialist will prepare technical documentation, participate in trials and commissioning, and provide engineering input for new projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves presenting findings, communicating technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, and contributing to innovation in line with the company’s mission.
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering expertise, including strong fundamentals in chemistry, thermodynamics, and process design.
- Process Engineering skills for process optimization, safety assessments, and scale-up of laboratory concepts to pilot and production levels.
- Analytical Skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of engineering tools or software to evaluate system performance.
- Communication and Presentation Skills to explain technical information clearly, prepare reports, and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in sectors such as healthcare, diagnostics, public safety, or related process industries is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, safety regulations, and good engineering practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
