About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined CCTV & Network Support Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for freshers or candidates with basic hands-on knowledge of CCTV systems, computer hardware, cabling, and networking.

The selected candidate will assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of CCTV surveillance and networking systems at client and project sites across Bihar.

Key Responsibilities

Install, mount, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, including Bullet, Dome, PTZ, and IP cameras.

Install and configure NVRs and CCTV recording systems.

Perform basic CCTV camera setup, positioning, focusing, testing, and commissioning.

Understand and work with IP-based CCTV systems and basic network configurations.

Perform Cat5/Cat6 cable laying, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.

Crimp RJ45 connectors using standard Ethernet colour codes and wiring schemes.

Assist with camera mounting, cable routing, and equipment installation.

Perform basic configuration of IP addresses, gateways, subnet masks, and network connectivity.

Identify and troubleshoot camera connectivity, video loss, signal loss, and recording issues.

Diagnose basic power-related issues, cable faults, hardware defects, and connectivity problems.

Replace or repair faulty cables, connectors, cameras, power supplies, and other peripherals, as required.

Conduct preventive maintenance and routine health checks of CCTV and networking equipment.

Maintain proper documentation of installed equipment, cable routes, IP addresses,



and service activities.

Coordinate with senior technicians and engineers for complex technical issues.

Follow safety procedures while working with electrical equipment, ladders, tools, and site installations.

Travel to different project/client locations across Bihar as required.

Required Technical Skills

Computer & Hardware

Basic knowledge of PC/computer hardware and peripherals.

Ability to identify basic hardware, power, and connectivity issues.

CCTV & Surveillance

Basic understanding of:

Bullet Cameras

Dome Cameras

PTZ Cameras

IP Cameras

NVRs

CCTV Recording Systems

Camera installation and configuration

Basic CCTV troubleshooting

Networking

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.

Knowledge of IP address configuration.

Basic understanding of LAN connectivity and network devices.

Ability to perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting.

Cabling & Termination

Knowledge of Cat5/Cat6 cables, coaxial cables, and RJ45 connectors.

Basic knowledge of Cat6 colour coding and T568A/T568B standards.

Ability to perform Cat6 cable crimping and termination.

Ability to identify cable faults and diagnose signal/connectivity loss.

Troubleshooting Skills The candidate should be able to assist in diagnosing:

CCTV camera video loss

Network connectivity issues

NVR recording failures

Power supply failures

Faulty cables and connectors

Camera hardware defects

RJ45 termination issues





Poor or unstable network connectivity

Signal loss and communication failures

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, Networking, IT, or a related field.

Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Desired Candidate Profile

Basic practical knowledge of CCTV and networking systems.

Willingness to work at client/project sites.

Comfortable with field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

Good problem-solving and learning ability.

Ability to work independently as well as as part of a technical team.

Good communication and professional behaviour.

Willingness to travel across different districts of Bihar as required.

A valid two-wheeler driving licence would be an advantage.
