Role & responsibilities:

- Drive sales of medium-rating Gensets (less than 750 kVA) across India, including twin-genset solutions for higher capacities.

- Own and drive business growth towards an annual revenue target of approximately 100 Cr.

- Lead and manage a team of 34 sales professionals.

- Develop robust relationships with consultants, electrical contractors and government departments and secure relevant approvals.

- Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for market and business expansion.

- Prepare project proposals and commercial offers aligned to customer requirements.

- Assess site requirements and estimate installation costs and project timelines.

- Provide expertise on panel costing and components related to Genset installations.

- Identify, launch and scale new business verticals / market opportunities.

- Act as a subject matter expert for less than 750 kVA DG Set segment and provide strategic and technical inputs.

Candidate Profile:





- 17 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the DG Sets / Genset industry.

- Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.

- Demonstrated track record of business development and launching/growing new business verticals.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in project proposals, commercial offers, installation costing and timelines.

- Knowledge of panel costing and genset installation-related components.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with consultants, contractors and government authorities.

- Experience handling significant revenue/business targets and Pan-India markets.

- BE Mechanical / Electrical or Diploma. MBA preferred.
