About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, accurate and customer-focused Cashier to join our reputed jewellery company. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in retail cash handling, preferably in the jewellery, luxury retail, or high-value retail industry.

The candidate should be comfortable handling high-value transactions, billing, cash/card/UPI payments, daily reconciliation and customer queries, while maintaining complete accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, card, UPI, bank transfers and other payment transactions accurately.
- Prepare and process customer bills/invoices as per company procedures.
- Verify billing details including product details, quantity, discounts, taxes and final payable amount.
- Handle high-value jewellery transactions with utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform daily cash closing and reconciliation with billing/system records.
- Maintain proper records of cash, card, UPI and other collections.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Accounts and Showroom teams regarding billing and payment-related matters.
- Verify payment receipts and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
- Identify and immediately report any billing mismatch, shortage, excess or payment discrepancy.




- Maintain proper documentation of daily collection and deposit records.
- Assist in daily sales closing and cash handover procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, discounts, refunds and cancellations.
- Handle customer queries related to billing and payment professionally.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while dealing with customer and financial information.

Candidate Requirements

- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Cashier, Billing Executive or Cashier-cum-Billing Executive.
- Experience in jewellery / retail / luxury retail will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling, billing and payment reconciliation.
- Good numerical ability and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with POS/billing software and MS Excel.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Should be honest, reliable, disciplined and responsible.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Should be comfortable handling high-value transactions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
