Job Summary
We are looking for an honest, fast, and responsible Cashier & Billing Executive for our retail store counter. In this role, you will handle customer checkout, collect payments (Cash, Card, UPI), and keep accurate daily cash records.
Key Responsibilities (Scope of Work)
- Counter Billing: Collect customer payments quickly and accurately using POS machines, Card terminals, and UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm).
- Daily Cash & Accounts Closing: Reconcile daily sales at the end of your shift, prepare daily cash settlement sheets, and deposit cash/cheques safely as per store policy.
- Customer Service: Handle counter billing smoothly,
answer basic customer queries, and process refunds or product exchanges with manager approval.
- Store Safety & Compliance: Follow cash-handling rules strictly and check notes carefully to detect fake currency.
Performance Expectations
- Zero Cash Mistakes: Physical cash in hand must match the system balance at the end of every shift.
- Speed: Maintain quick billing to avoid long queues at the counter.
- Accuracy: Submit error-free daily sales reports and cash handover sheets.
Requirements
- Plus Two (12th pass) or any Degree.
- Prior experience in retail counter billing, using POS systems and card/UPI machines.
- Basic computer skills and good numerical ability.
- Fluent in Malayalam with basic English communication skills.
- Honest, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
