As CAPEX User Lead – Site Utilities, you will play a key role in supporting the expansion of our manufacturing site in Patalganga, helping ensure that critical utility infrastructure enables safe, reliable, and efficient operations today and into the future.

The role & your impact

This is a strategic and technical role responsible for representing site utility users throughout medium and complex CAPEX projects. Working closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, EHS, automation, and project stakeholders, you will ensure that utility systems deliver the required capacity, performance, reliability, maintainability, and future scalability needed to support site expansion activities.

Your Key Responsibilities In This Role

Lead site utility user activities from project definition through commissioning and operational handover.

- Define and approve utility user requirements, installation requirements, capacity requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Support project justification, investment approvals, and project charter development.
- Review utility concepts, designs, process flow diagrams, P&IDs;, equipment specifications, automation functionality, and operating concepts.
- Ensure utility systems support production performance, quality, EHS requirements, reliability, maintainability, and future expansion needs.
- Coordinate utility interfaces across production, engineering, maintenance, automation, facility, and project functions.
- Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, operational readiness, and project acceptance activities.




- Contribute to utility technology plans and long-term infrastructure development initiatives.

What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of relevant technical experience, including substantial experience with industrial utility systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in site utilities, facility engineering, maintenance, process engineering, or CAPEX project execution.
- Strong knowledge of utility generation and distribution systems, capacity assessment, controls, operation, and maintenance.
- Experience with PFDs, P&IDs;, equipment sizing, design reviews, automation interfaces, commissioning, and project handover.
- Experience with risk assessments, FAT, SAT, operational readiness, and acceptance activities.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills across multiple functions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

- Knowledge of energy systems, water treatment and distribution systems.
- Experience with compressed gases, heating and cooling systems, or wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Experience participating in large-scale industrial expansion projects.




- Interest in utility technology development and continuous improvement initiatives.
