Job Summary

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Bangalore. The role will be responsible for managing purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination and purchase orders to ensure optimal stock availability and timely customer deliveries.

The ideal candidate should have experience in procurement, buying, inventory management, material planning or supply chain, along with good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage inventory levels for assigned products across multiple distribution centres.
- Ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, delivery schedules and order status.
- Monitor open purchase orders and ensure delivery information is accurate and updated.
- Identify potential supply or delivery delays and communicate them to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to expedite or reschedule orders based on customer requirements.
- Review SKU-level demand forecasts and work with planning teams to improve forecast accuracy.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, including purchase costs, lead times, Bills of Material (BOM) and other relevant information.




- Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
- Coordinate the resolution of non-conforming materials and other supplier-related issues.
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with suppliers.
- Support continuous improvement in procurement, inventory and supply planning processes.

Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Material Planning.
- Experience managing Purchase Orders and supplier/vendor relationships.
- Valuable understanding of inventory management and stock planning.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to analyze supply requirements and manage delivery schedules.
- Experience handling supplier-related issues, invoice discrepancies, or material concerns.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changing business requirements.
