Qualification: DMLT / B.Sc. MLT

Experience: 2–4 years preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Perform blood grouping, Rh typing, antibody screening and compatibility testing.
- Carry out cross-matching of blood and blood components as per established procedures.
- Assist in blood collection from voluntary and replacement donors.
- Conduct donor screening and ensure proper documentation before blood collection.
- Perform testing and processing of blood samples according to Blood Bank SOPs.
- Handle and maintain blood components such as Whole Blood, Packed Red Cells, Fresh Frozen Plasma and Platelets as applicable.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, storage and issue of blood and blood components.
- Maintain appropriate temperature and storage conditions for blood and blood components.
- Monitor blood stock, expiry dates and inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of blood collection, testing, processing, storage and issue.
- Follow all prescribed Blood Bank SOPs, safety procedures and quality-control requirements.




- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of blood and blood components.
- Assist in investigation and reporting of transfusion-related reactions as per hospital protocol.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards within the Blood Bank.
- Handle Blood Bank equipment properly and report any malfunction or technical issue to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff and other departments for timely availability and issue of blood components.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Blood Bank regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
- Participate in internal quality-control activities, audits and inspections.
- Perform duties in shifts as per the Blood Bank's operational requirements.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
