Role Description The Billing Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing and verifying project quantities and billing for construction projects. This role includes preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), coordination with project and site teams to validate work done, and ensuring accurate and timely client and contractor billing.

The Billing

Engineer will perform rate analysis, track project costs,



reconcile quantities with drawings and site measurements, and support quantity surveying activities. The role also involves maintaining billing records, assisting in cost control, and collaborating with finance and project management teams to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with Billing Systems and processes in real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Rate Analysis and cost estimation for materials, labor, and activities.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills with attention to detail in reviewing drawings, measurements, and bills.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, standards, and industry practices.
- Ability to work on-site, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant engineering or quantity surveying software; experience with ERP or project management tools is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in billing, quantity surveying, or cost control in the construction industry.
