Beckley Chevrolet is looking for an experienced, high-energy BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center and drive results.

This is not an entry-level management position. Strong automotive dealership BDC experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands dealership operations, knows how to build and manage a high-performing BDC team, and is comfortable utilizing AI-powered platforms and modern dealership technology to improve efficiency, customer engagement, follow-up, and appointment performance.

What We're Looking For The Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Strong previous automotive dealership BDC experience — REQUIRED
- Previous BDC leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively work with AI platforms and AI-powered dealership tools — REQUIRED
- Comfortable learning, implementing, and managing current technology and automation
- Proven ability to manage internet leads, inbound calls, outbound campaigns, and unsold follow-up
- Strong understanding of dealership CRM processes and lead management
- Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold BDC agents accountable
- Excellent phone, text, and email communication skills
- Strong appointment-setting and objection-handling skills
- A process-driven mindset with close attention to follow-up
- Ability to analyze BDC performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- High energy, competitive attitude, and a strong desire to win

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the dealership BDC
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop BDC representatives
- Monitor incoming internet leads and phone opportunities
- Ensure leads are worked quickly, consistently, and according to process
- Improve appointment set, show, and sold performance
- Utilize AI platforms, automation,



and dealership technology to improve BDC productivity and customer engagement
- Monitor AI-generated communication and automated follow-up to ensure quality and accuracy
- Identify opportunities to use AI and technology to improve processes and results
- Monitor calls, texts, emails, and CRM activity for quality and accountability
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and team training
- Build effective follow-up processes for unsold customers and missed appointments
- Work closely with the General Manager and Sales Management team
- Track departmental KPIs and provide regular performance reporting
- Hold the team accountable to activity and performance standards
- Develop campaigns to generate additional showroom traffic and sales opportunities

Experience Requirements Candidates without a strong automotive dealership BDC background will not be considered. Candidates must also be comfortable working with AI platforms, automation, CRM technology, and evolving digital tools. We want someone who embraces new technology and knows how to use it to make the BDC more productive—not someone who is resistant to change. We are looking for a proven dealership BDC professional who can take ownership of the department, establish accountability, embrace technology,
