Zoenix is hiring Backend Developers for a government-sector technology project.
Position Details
- Role: Backend Developer
- Experience: 5+ years
- Location: Delhi / Gurgaon / Noida
- Work Mode: On-site, Delhi
- Compensation: Up to ₹40,000/month
- Contract: 1 year, with potential for extension
- Interview: Face-to-face in Delhi
- Location Requirement: Candidates must currently be based in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida
- Notice Period: No restriction. Candidates currently working and not serving notice can also apply.
Role Overview We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications, APIs and microservices.
The candidate should be experienced in building reliable backend systems and integrating them with front-end applications and external systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend applications and services
- Develop scalable and secure REST APIs
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications
- Integrate backend services with front-end applications and external systems
- Develop business logic and data-processing components
- Work with databases and ensure efficient data access
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Optimize application performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers and other technical teams
- Support testing, deployment and production issue resolution
- Prepare technical documentation where required
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Backend Development experience
- Strong experience with one or more of:
- Java
- Node.js
- Python
- Strong experience developing REST APIs
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Good understanding of backend application design and development
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with API integrations
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Git and contemporary development practices
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
- Government or public-sector technology project experience
- Experience with distributed systems and integrations
- Experience with cloud-based application environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Candidate Requirements
- Currently based in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida
- Comfortable working on-site in Delhi
- Comfortable attending a face-to-face interview in Delhi
- Comfortable with a 1-year contractual engagement with potential for extension
- No restriction on notice period or current employment status
Important Candidates should have strong hands-on backend development experience with Java, Node.js or Python , along with API and microservices experience. Candidates whose experience is primarily frontend, support or database administration without substantial backend development experience may not be considered.
