Role Description The AWS / AI Tech Lead role is a full-time hybrid position based in Noida, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud architectures on AWS that support Alight’s data, analytics, and advantages platforms. The AWS / AI Tech Lead will lead technical design for AI and machine learning solutions, oversee integration of AI services into existing systems, and ensure robust security, reliability, and performance.

Day-to-day activities include collaborating with product owners and architects, guiding engineering teams, reviewing code and solution designs, and setting best practices for cloud-native and AI-driven development. The role also involves mentoring team members, collaborating across functions to deliver high-quality solutions,



and continuously evaluating new AWS and AI capabilities to enhance Alight’s technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong cloud architecture and engineering skills, including experience with AWS services (such as compute, storage, networking, serverless, and managed data services) and designing secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Candidates should possess AI and machine learning expertise, including experience with model development, deployment, and monitoring, and familiarity with integrating AI/ML services or frameworks into production applications.
- Candidates should possess software engineering and solution design skills, including proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, or Node.js), API design, microservices patterns, and CI/CD practices.
- Candidates should possess data and analytics skills, including working with structured and unstructured data, data pipelines, and using analytics or visualization tools to support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess leadership and collaboration capabilities, including experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, and working in cross-functional environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and professional certifications in AWS or AI/ML, are beneficial.
