Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive the organization's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Identify emerging technologies, industry trends and new technology opportunities relevant to the business.
- Develop technology roadmaps covering IT Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data Centre, Digital Infrastructure and Managed Services.
- Establish technology standards, frameworks, architecture principles and best practices across the organization.
- Provide technology leadership and guidance to senior management on technology investments and business opportunities.
2. IT Infrastructure & Hardware Solutions
- Provide strategic direction for enterprise infrastructure solutions including:
- Servers and Storage
- Networking & Switching
- Routing & SD-WAN
- Data Centre Infrastructure
- Virtualization
- Backup & Disaster Recovery
- End User Computing
- Infrastructure Monitoring & Management
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate OEM technologies and solutions based on customer requirements and business needs.
- Build strong technical relationships with leading OEMs, technology partners and solution providers.
3. Cybersecurity
- Lead the company's cybersecurity technology strategy and solution portfolio.
- Provide expertise across areas such as:
- Network Security
- Firewalls & IPS
- SIEM / SOAR
- XDR / EDR
- Vulnerability Management
- Identity & Access Management
- Data Security
- Security Operations / SOC
- Zero Trust
- Security Assessment & Compliance
- Ensure that cybersecurity solutions proposed and delivered to customers meet current security standards and best practices.
- Keep the organization updated on emerging threats, technologies and regulatory requirements.
4. Cloud & Digital Infrastructure
- Drive cloud strategy and solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure and other enterprise cloud platforms.
- Develop hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure solutions where applicable.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, optimization and managed cloud initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to integrate cloud, cybersecurity and infrastructure services into the company's portfolio.
5. Solution Architecture & Pre-Sales
- Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to design technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
- Lead solution conceptualization for large and strategic customer opportunities.
- Review and approve technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, solution architectures, BOMs, SOWs and technical documentation.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical presentations, solution workshops and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Act as the senior technical authority during strategic customer engagements.
- Support the sales team in identifying new technology-led business opportunities.
6. Project Delivery & Service Excellence
- Provide technical oversight for major infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud and managed service projects.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, quality standards and customer expectations.
- Establish technical governance and escalation mechanisms for critical customer engagements.
- Review project performance, service quality, SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and operational processes.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead and mentor senior technical teams including Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales and Project Delivery.
- Build a strong technology talent pipeline and identify capability gaps.
- Develop technical competency frameworks, training plans and certification roadmaps.
- Encourage a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
8. Business Growth & Technology Partnerships
- Work closely with the CEO/MD and Business Development teams to develop technology-led growth strategies.
- Identify new service lines, solutions and market opportunities.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with OEMs, distributors, technology partners and strategic alliances.
- Evaluate new products and technologies for inclusion in the company's portfolio.
- Support commercial teams in developing differentiated technology propositions and solutions.
9. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish appropriate technology governance, security controls and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee technology risk assessments and business continuity / disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, architecture standards and technical controls are maintained.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Master's degree / MBA in Technology or Business Management will be an advantage.
- 18–25+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data Centre or related technology services.
- Significant experience in a senior technology leadership / AVP / VP Technology / Head of Technology / Solution Architecture leadership role.
- Robust experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise technology solutions.
- Proven experience in managing large technical teams and strategic customer engagements.
- Experience in IT services, system integration, managed services or technology consulting organizations will be preferred.
Preferred Technical Exposure Strong understanding of multiple areas including:
