Role Description The Aviation Instructor will deliver classroom and practical training in aviation-related subjects, with a focus on aircraft systems, powerplant, and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching course modules, conducting demonstrations, supervising practical workshops, and assessing learner performance through exams, assignments, and skill evaluations. The instructor will maintain training materials, ensure compliance with relevant aviation standards, and support continuous improvement of course content. The role also involves mentoring learners, providing feedback on progress,



and coordinating with other instructors and administrative staff to ensure smooth program delivery.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and aircraft systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in powerplant systems, including engine operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
- Candidates should possess proven training and instructional skills, including the ability to deliver structured lessons and assess learner competencies.
- Candidates should possess explicit communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way.
- Candidates should possess relevant aviation certifications or licenses (e.g., AME license or equivalent) and prior experience in aviation maintenance or instruction.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to safety, compliance, and documentation standards.
- A diploma or degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred; teaching experience in an aviation academy is an advantage.
