A Japanese automotive parts manufacturer is hiring 2 Automotive Plastic Design Engineers for its Gurgaon office, through MXC Ignite. You will design interior and exterior plastic components and work with the India engineering team and the Japan headquarters.

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (in office, full-time)

Employment: Permanent, 3-month probation

Experience: 1+ year in plastic product design

Salary: ₹8,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per year (8–18 LPA), based on experience, skills and current CTC

Responsibilities

- Design automotive interior and exterior plastic components
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Support structural analysis, design modifications, prototype development and design reviews
- Interpret technical specifications from customers and the Japan HQ
- Report design progress to senior engineers and coordinate with local suppliers

Requirements




- 1+ year of hands-on plastic product design experience
- Practical 3D CAD and 3D modeling experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Good English communication
- Willingness to learn and work proactively

Good to Have
- Automotive interior/exterior component experience or Tier-1 supplier exposure
- Basic knowledge of injection molding and tooling
- Experience with Japanese companies
- Japanese language skills or interest in learning (preferred, not mandatory)
