Job Summary

We are looking for an Automobile Claims Executive to assess and process vehicle warranty claims, coordinate with workshops and dealers, and ensure timely resolution in accordance with applicable warranty terms and company procedures. The candidate should have sound automobile technical knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Register claims and verify vehicle details, warranty coverage, service history, and supporting documents.

Review workshop diagnosis, inspection reports, photographs, repair estimates, and relevant technical evidence.

Assess claim eligibility against warranty coverage, exclusions, maintenance requirements, and approval limits.

Evaluate proposed repairs, parts replacement, labour charges, and repair costs.

Coordinate with customers, dealers, service centres, inspection teams, and internal departments to obtain information and resolve queries.

Process claims within assigned authority and escalate cases requiring technical review or higher approval.

Communicate claim status, approved repair scope, and reasons for non-approval clearly and professionally.

Monitor repair progress and verify final invoices against approved work before processing claims for settlement.

Identify discrepancies, duplicate claims, suspected misuse, and unusual repair costs, and escalate them appropriately.

Maintain accurate claim records and prepare reports on pending cases,



turnaround time, claim costs, and closures.

Conduct workshop visits or support vehicle inspections when required.

To co-ordinate/execute the Warranty Spare parts Audit with the Dealers from time to time to verify claim legitimacy.

Analyse the prototype field failures w.r.t to vehicle variant/ Dealer code (for any diagnostic/process gap) & inform the Dealer with relevant data to prevent loss in upcoming future.

Apt in analysing the vehicle issue on live video call, or on-site visit to Dealer to optimize budget & prevent finanacial leakage

Claim disbursement to be informed to Dealer from time to time with respect to payment received from HO Accounts.

Qualifications and Skills

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Relevant experience in an automobile dealership, service centre, warranty company, or claims department.

Understanding of vehicle systems, mechanical and electrical faults, diagnostic procedures, and repair processes.

Ability to interpret job cards, service records, repair estimates, and invoices.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, email, and claims management software.

Strong analytical, coordination, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.

Ability to communicate in Bengali, Hindi, and English preferred.

Timely claim assessment and closure.

Accuracy of claim decisions and documentation.

Control of pending claims and adherence to turnaround targets.

Effective workshop coordination and resolution of customer queries.

Compliance with warranty terms and internal approval procedures.
