Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation QE – Cypress with robust hands-on experience in Cypress automation to drive test automation, quality engineering practices, and automation strategy across product teams. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years of relevant Cypress experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive the test automation strategy and roadmap.
- Design, enhance, and maintain Cypress automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Develop and maintain stubs and mocks for reliable test execution.
- Drive functional, regression, smoke, component, API, and E2E testing.
- Identify and resolve flaky and redundant tests to improve automation quality.
- Collaborate with developers,



Product Owners, and platform teams in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to QE best practices, framework improvements, and automation coverage optimization.

Required Skills
- 7+ years of overall QA/Automation experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Cypress automation experience – Mandatory.
- Strong experience in Cypress automation framework development and maintenance.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and automated quality gates.
- Strong understanding of test stubbing/mocking and API testing.
- Experience with Jest, Storybook, and Xray.
- Experience in automation framework design and QE practices.
- Good understanding of risk-based and shift-left testing.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Good to Have
- Exposure to AI-led Quality Engineering.
- Experience optimizing test coverage across UI, Unit, Component, and API layers.
