Role Description This is a full-time, in office AutoCAD Designer role based in Chhatral. The AutoCAD Designer will create and modify detailed engineering and fabrication drawings for sheet metal components, electrical panels, and related assemblies using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD tools.

Responsibilities include interpreting design specifications, collaborating with engineers and production teams, and preparing construction and layout drawings that meet technical standards and client requirements. The role also involves reviewing drawings for accuracy, optimizing designs for manufacturability, and updating documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The AutoCAD Designer will participate in design reviews,



support space planning for equipment and panel installations, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Drawing and Construction Drawings for industrial, fabrication, or electrical panel projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and Space Planning to support layout design and equipment placement.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with engineers, production teams, and clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and preferably 3D) or similar CAD software, with experience in sheet metal or electrical panel design.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and industry standards related to metal fabrication and electrical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and engineering specifications with attention to detail.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering/design field.
- Prior experience in an industrial or fabrication environment is preferred; familiarity with EV charging or control panels is an advantage.
