Trust (PAET) and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), ensuring strong academic and regulatory standards. PACP currently offers B. Pharm and D. Pharm programs with intakes of 100 and 60 students respectively, providing faculty with the opportunity to teach and mentor a diverse student body. Role Description Faculty members at P.A. College of Pharmacy will engage in full time, on-site academic duties at the campus in Mangaluru. Daily responsibilities include delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, preparing teaching materials, and assessing student performance for B.
Pharm and D. Pharm courses. Faculty will guide student projects, support academic mentoring, and contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
The role also involves participation in academic committees, student counseling, and co-curricular activities that enhance the learning setting.
Faculty are encouraged to pursue scholarly activities such as research, publications, and professional development in relevant areas of pharmaceutical sciences.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualifications such as M.Pharm or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Strong teaching capabilities, including planning and delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, and evaluating student performance.
- Experience or interest in academic research, publishing, and contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical knowledge.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring students, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in academic committees.
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to pharmacy education (e.g., PCI and AICTE guidelines).
- Ability to use educational technologies, maintain accurate academic records, and support outcome-based education practices.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in pharmacy or healthcare is an advantage.
