Mulmul is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Accessory Designer with a robust foundation in handbag design, hand embroidery, and bag construction. You’ll work closely with the design and production teams to develop accessories that blend craftsmanship with functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design handbags and small accessories aligned with the Mulmul aesthetic.
- Create design sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs.
- Develop embroidery concepts and collaborate with artisans during sampling.
- Ensure proper bag construction, functionality, and product quality.
- Source materials, trims, and hardware for collection development.
- Stay updated on accessory trends, materials, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accessory Design, Leather Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- 0–2 year of experience.
- Strong knowledge of hand embroidery, bag construction, and product development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and good communication skills.
