Perform requirement gathering, interact with business users, analyze requirements & provide solutions to optimize the business processes and increase efficiency. Mentor and manage a team of Power BI developers, analysts, and data engineers. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Provide formal estimates to satisfy requirements and produce planning & strategy documents and Requirement Traceability Matrix.
- Participate in daily standup, sprint planning, grooming, review, retrospectives and periodical business meetings with all the stake holders in Agile environment.
- Lead the design and development of enterprise Power BI solutions.
- Review and approve technical designs, dashboards, and data models.
- Led the Quality Assurance team and manage all aspects of data, functional and automation testing, ensuring seamless coordination and accountable for the delivery of all QA components.
- Define use cases using BRD documents, set up review sessions and get the sign off from the Business Analysts for PowerBI reports.
- Design test scripts from the use cases and develop automaton scripts using BI Validator tool and maintain them in Zephyr a Jira tool.
- Validate data between Azure Databricks, Oracle against PowerBI reports using SQL queries.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI tracking solutions.
- Design and optimize semantic models and datasets.
- Create complex DAX measures and calculations.
- Develop reusable reporting frameworks and self-service analytics solutions.




- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance standards.

QA skills required

- Develop scripts for manual test scenarios for smoke, functional, regression, integration, end to end, UAT and maintain it in Zephyr tool.
- Mentor the team and monitor the quality of work produced by the QA team to ensure the quality standards are met consistently.
- Execute product design features to support scalability, usability and better performance.
- Extensive experience and Strong knowledge in various Project, Release & Change Management processes including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and Iterative.

Technical Skills

- Expert knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced DAX and Power Query (M).
- Strong SQL development and database optimization.
- Data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks & Reporting suite expertise.
- ETL/ELT design and implementation.
- Performance tuning and optimization.
- Power BI Gateway configuration and administration.
- Security implementation including RLS/Object-Level Security
