Associate - Cloud Architecture - IN The role is responsible for end to end solutioning which includes front-end platforms, servers, storage, delivery and networks required to manage cloud storage.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

- They are responsible for overseeing and consulting a company's cloud computing strategy which includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, cloud management, monitoring cloud suitability assessment and near term migration plan from the client's existing application/infrastructure platform to a cloud based solution.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services is desired.

AWS Cloud & Infrastructure

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services including Glue, Lambda, S3, and MWAA.

Manage IAM roles and policies to enforce least-privilege access across data platform resources.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and cost efficiency in AWS environments.

Infrastructure as Code & Terraform

Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage AWS infrastructure in a version-controlled manner.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy infrastructure changes through established CI/CD pipelines.

Contribute to shared Terraform module libraries and enforce state management best practices.

Python & SQL Development

Write production-grade Python code for data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment workflows.

Develop complex SQL queries and data validation scripts to support analytics and reporting needs.

Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to team coding standards and best practices.

Data Pipeline & Data Engineering Design

Architect end-to-end data pipelines from source ingestion through transformation to consumption layers.

Partner with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Implement data quality checks, alerting, and logging frameworks to proactively resolve pipeline failures.

DAG Development & Workflow Orchestration

Author, test,



and manage Airflow DAGs within MWAA to orchestrate complex, dependency-driven workflows.

Apply best practices for DAG design including error handling, retry logic, and SLA monitoring.

Agile & SDLC Participation

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Own the full lifecycle of assigned stories from technical design through development to production deployment.

Collaborate with QA, platform, and business teams to ensure smooth handoffs and deployment readiness.

Change Management & Governance

Follow TIAA change management processes for deploying pipeline updates and infrastructure changes to production.

Prepare change requests with accurate impact assessments, rollback plans, and deployment documentation.

Ensure all production deployments adhere to security, compliance, and audit requirements.
