Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Professor – Nursing role is based at the Shri Khushal Das University campus in Hanumangarh.

The Assistant

Professor will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate nursing courses, deliver lectures, lead practical and clinical sessions, and facilitate skill-based training in line with regulatory and university standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing and updating course materials, mentoring students, supervising projects and clinical postings, and assessing student performance through exams and assignments.



The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, participating in academic committees, engaging in research or scholarly activities, and supporting community outreach or health education initiatives.

The Assistant

Professor is expected to maintain a student-centered learning workplace and collaborate with colleagues to uphold high standards in nursing education.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational and advanced skills in Nursing and Nursing Education.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Curriculum Development for nursing programs.
- Candidates should possess clinical and teaching competence in Pediatrics.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Medicine relevant to nursing practice.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (M.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution; Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral work in Nursing is an advantage.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Nursing Council, and familiarity with national nursing education standards and guidelines.
- Demonstrated teaching ability, classroom management skills, and experience in clinical supervision or hospital-based practice.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an academic team.
