Role Description The Assistant Professor in Computer Science will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in computer science and related areas. Daily activities include preparing and updating course materials, conducting lectures and lab sessions, mentoring learners, evaluating assignments and examinations, and providing academic guidance aligned with CTPL’s EdTech-driven approach. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, engaging in applied research or industry projects, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate CTPL’s digital platforms into teaching and learning.





This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in departmental and institutional activities.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in core Computer Science concepts and the ability to teach fundamental and advanced subjects.
- Expertise in Programming and practical software development, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Knowledge of Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning fundamentals, or related computational techniques.
- Understanding of Cybersecurity principles, best practices, and emerging trends relevant to higher education and digital platforms.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies for technology-focused programs.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution (Ph.D. preferred).
- Demonstrated teaching ability, strong communication skills, and a learner-centric approach to instruction.
- Interest in EdTech, digital learning tools, and innovation in teaching methodologies; experience with LMS or digital campus solutions is an advantage.
- Capacity to collaborate with academic and industry partners, contribute to research or applied projects, and support institutional initiatives.
