We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations at our production facility. This role requires regular presence on the plant floor and close coordination with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D; teams to ensure productive, safe, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in setting daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
Organize workflow by assigning tasks and preparing production schedules
Supervise production staff and support team performance and discipline
Prepare and submit production and performance reports
Identify inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
Resolve day-to-day operational issues on the plant floor
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
Assist in R&D; trials, product testing, and scale-up activities
Requirements & Skills
1–2 years experience in food manufacturing or production operations
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
Willingness to work hands-on on the production floor
Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills
Ability to learn quickly and solve operational issues
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
