Role Description This full-time Assistant Engineer role is an in office position based in Pune.

The Assistant

Engineer will support production and engineering teams in day-to-day activities, including monitoring manufacturing processes, assisting with equipment setup, and supporting preventive maintenance tasks. The role involves collecting and analyzing basic process data, preparing reports, and helping implement improvements in productivity, quality, and safety. The individual will collaborate with senior engineers and supervisors to resolve technical issues, support troubleshooting on the shop floor, and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.

Engineer is also expected to coordinate with cross-functional teams, maintain proper documentation, and follow all environmental, health, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of electrical and/or electronic engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, basic circuit diagrams, and standard engineering documentation.
- Competence in using standard engineering tools, test instruments, and basic MS Office applications for reporting and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to troubleshooting on the shop floor.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field from an accredited institution.
- Willingness to work in an on-site manufacturing environment and adhere to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Prior internship or experience in an electronics or automotive manufacturing setup is an advantage.
