Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, taxation, and accounting assignments under the supervision of senior team members in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers, verifying supporting documents, and helping ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role also involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting tax return filings, maintaining books of accounts, and preparing reports and schedules as required.

The Articled

Assistant will interact with clients to gather information,



clarify documentation requirements, and support smooth execution of engagements. This is an on-site role based in Gurgaon, offering hands-on exposure to skilled practice and guidance toward completing professional qualifications.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax and GST fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software; familiarity with audit tools is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enrollment as an articled trainee (e.g., pursuing CA or an equivalent professional qualification) is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, manage deadlines, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
