Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Articleship position in Indirect Tax based in Gurugram. The role involves assisting in indirect tax compliance, including preparation and review of GST returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. The Articleship trainee will conduct research on indirect tax laws and recent judicial and regulatory developments, and help prepare technical notes, summaries, and client deliverables.

Daily responsibilities include working with senior team members on tax planning assignments, supporting tax audits and assessments,



maintaining accurate working papers, and contributing to internal knowledge-building initiatives. The position offers hands-on exposure to client interactions, practical application of indirect tax concepts, and structured learning in a professional, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Tax and Tax Law, with particular interest in indirect taxation and GST.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation, including working with data, documentation, and statutory filings.
- Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Finance concepts relevant to taxation, accounting, and compliance.
- Pursuing or having cleared relevant levels of CA or equivalent professional qualification, with eligibility for Articleship in India.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and research skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional team setting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with tax software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- High ethical standards, willingness to learn, and ability to manage time and multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
