We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Area Sales Officer to drive sales and market development for our TMT steel products in Guwahati and surrounding markets. The candidate will be responsible for developing dealer and distributor networks, managing existing customers, generating recent business, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for TMT steel products.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, builders, and other key customers.

- Identify and develop new dealers and market opportunities within the assigned territory.

- Regularly visit dealers, retailers, construction sites, contractors, and project locations.

- Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.

- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.

- Coordinate with distributors/dealers and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.

- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer visits, orders, collections, and market intelligence.





- Promote company products and communicate product benefits, schemes, and offers to customers.

- Provide regular market feedback to the Sales Manager.

- Ensure proper product visibility and brand presence in the assigned territory.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline; candidates with a background in Sales/Marketing, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration will be preferred.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in TMT steel, cement, building materials, construction materials, or related industries.

- Good knowledge of the local market and dealer network will be an advantage.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

- Target-oriented and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and sales reporting.

- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are preferred/required.

- Candidates who are familiar with Guwahati and the Assam market will be preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
