Role Description The Article Trainee will support the team in day-to-day accounting, tax, and compliance activities under the guidance of senior professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, GST and Income Tax return preparation and filings, documentation for assessments and refunds, and preparation of working papers and reports. The trainee will help in drafting responses to tax notices, supporting Virtual CFO assignments, and contributing to compliance work for NGOs and non-profit organizations. The role involves maintaining accurate records,



researching relevant provisions of tax laws and accounting standards, and participating in client meetings when required.

This is an internship, on-site role based in Delhi, India, offering practical training aligned with professional qualifications.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and basic understanding of taxation (Income Tax, GST).
- Ability to work with financial data, maintain organized records, and prepare reconciliations and working papers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or tax software is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft straightforward reports, emails, and documentation.
- Detail-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and willingness to research and learn applicable laws and standards (including IFRS/Ind AS).
- Enrollment in or completion of CA-related studies, commerce degree, or equivalent academic background is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, collaborate with team members, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
