Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Aircraft Maintenance Technician role based in Hyderabad. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements in accordance with regulatory and IndiGo maintenance standards. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical and system issues, document all maintenance activities accurately, and ensure aircraft safety and readiness for flight operations.

Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with engineering and operations teams, adhering to safety and quality procedures,



and supporting continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Systems, with the ability to perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on contemporary commercial aircraft.
- Exposure to Aircraft PowerPlant and related systems, with the capability to work on engines and associated components within approved procedures.
- Proficiency in Aircraft Troubleshooting, including diagnosing faults, interpreting technical manuals, and resolving defects efficiently and safely.
- Recognized technical qualification or license in aircraft maintenance (e.g., AME/Part-66 or equivalent), with relevant type ratings considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of aviation safety regulations, maintenance documentation standards, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work in shifts, in a high-intensity operational environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Prior experience in commercial airline or MRO environments is preferred; familiarity with IndiGo fleet types is an added advantage.
