ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an AI Video Artist who is equal parts film director and editor. You will own productions end-to-end: take a brief or script, break it into shots, direct frontier AI video models the way a cinematographer directs a camera crew, and then cut, grade, and sound-design the output into a finished film.

This is not a “generate clips and stitch them” role. Our AI output must survive a TVC quality bar — photorealistic skin, locked character continuity, correct film grammar, motivated lighting, deliberate lensing. Your craft, taste, and prompt-writing precision are what get it there. You will work directly with the Founder & Creative Director across client commercials, spec campaigns, short films, and animation projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Direct complete AI productions from brief to final master: concept, script breakdown, shot lists, storyboards, generation, edit, grade, sound, and delivery.
- Write cinematic, shot-by-shot prompts for AI video models (Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, Runway) — specifying camera movement, lens language, lighting design, blocking, and composition with the precision of a working DP.
- Build storyboard keyframes with frontier AI image models and maintain character, product,



and style consistency across multi-shot narratives using reference-image workflows.
- Edit and finish in DaVinci Resolve / Premiere Pro / After Effects: pacing, rhythm, sound design, music, typography, motion graphics, and color grading.
- Use LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) as reliable creative instruments — scriptwriting, treatments, prompt engineering, and structured pre-production documentation.
- Generate and direct AI voiceover, dialogue, and sound design (ElevenLabs, Suno, and similar tools).
- Adapt master films into platform variants — 16:9 TVC, 9:16 Reels/Shorts, 21:9 cinematic cuts — without losing the story.
- Enforce the studio quality bar: no AI artifacts, no plastic skin, no broken physics, no lazy compositions.
- Benchmark every major new model release against our current stack and continuously evolve the pipeline.
- Contribute to client-facing material: treatments, pitch decks, shot breakdowns, and revision rounds.

- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 2+ years of hands-on video editing / post-production experience, plus a demonstrable body of AI-generated film work.
- A portfolio or showreel of AI-made or AI-assisted films — mandatory. Applications without work samples will not be reviewed.
- Expert-level prompt engineering and excellent written English. At Hinton, prompts are screenwriting: if you cannot write the shot, you cannot shoot it.
- Hands-on fluency with current AI video models — Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, Runway (Veo / Sora exposure a plus) — and AI image models for keyframing.
- Working fluency with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) for creative development and production workflows.




- Proven consistency technique: keeping a character, product, or visual style locked across a 20–40 shot film.
- Strong editing fundamentals — cut timing, rhythm, sound design, typography, and color.
- Real film literacy: rule of thirds, the 180-degree rule, lens psychology, motivated lighting, blocking, and continuity — and the eye to catch the exact frame where AI breaks them.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and deadline-driven client production in a fast-scaling studio.

BONUS POINTS

- Motion graphics / VFX depth in After Effects; Blender or other 3D experience.
- Musical sensibility — an ear for score and sound design, across Indian and global traditions.
- Prior agency, production-house, or TVC pipeline experience.
- Experience documenting AI workflows: SOPs, prompt libraries, internal playbooks, or training others.
