Babylonia is a controlled-environment agriculture company based in Kozhikode. We build living walls, indoor farming systems, and the software that runs them. Small team, real products.

Role Description

This is an in office agronomy role in Kozhikode, starting with a two-month internship and moving to full-time on satisfactory completion. Our products grow real plants, so somebody has to make sure they actually grow well. You will run the crop trials, keep the daily records, and track what works across different setups. You will work under our agronomy lead, who signs off on anything published, and alongside the hardware and software teams who need your data to improve the products.

What you will work on

- Run crop trials across our growing systems and record what happens.
- Daily monitoring: nutrient solution, pH, EC, light, and plant health.
- Keep clean, consistent records. Our product decisions depend on them.
- Prepare nutrient solutions and manage propagation.




- Flag problems early: deficiency, disease, pests, equipment faults.
- Help write the growing guides that go out with our products.

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field. Final year students welcome.
- Understand plant nutrition basics: what pH and EC mean and why they matter.
- Hydroponics or controlled environment experience is useful but not required. We will teach you.
- Careful and consistent. Daily records only matter if they are done the same way every day.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets.
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster.
- Willing to be hands on with plants, water, and equipment every day.
