Role Description The Advisory Board Member – Partnership & Growth is a full-time remote position responsible for guiding strategic initiatives that expand HackHalt’s impact and global reach. This role involves identifying and nurturing partnerships with corporate, academic, nonprofit, and government stakeholders, as well as supporting fundraising efforts and collaborative programs.
The Advisory Board
Member will review market trends and organizational performance, provide analytical insights to inform growth strategies, and contribute to the refinement of HackHalt’s four-pillar framework.
Day-to-day activities include participating in board and strategy meetings, advising on financial sustainability and resource allocation, supporting marketing and outreach plans, and representing HackHalt at virtual events, briefings, and stakeholder discussions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust Finance and Fundraising skills to support sustainable growth, investment strategies, and resource mobilization.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to evaluate partnerships, assess market opportunities, and inform evidence-based decisions.
- Candidates should possess Marketing and communication skills to help shape outreach strategies, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience in advisory, leadership, or executive roles in cybersecurity, technology, nonprofit, or impact-driven organizations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment and collaborate with global partners and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building high-value partnerships.
- Relevant academic background in business, finance, public policy, technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
